This dress is dedicated to Miss Mae West,("why don't you come up and see me", she said among other tongue firmly in cheek things. ) She was a pioneer: a woman of independence, a free thinker, and a true legend, who was cancelled on Broadway for being too risque'.

What a gal!

I hand-beaded this dress with bugle beads, tiny crystals, sequins and is a very sexy number! On silk.
I cropped this picture and made it closer up. Sorry it's so big, but I can't get a really clear shot of it.

You're a "seamstress" too? :giggle: It's a very beautiful dress! How long did it take you to hand bead such a lovely sexy number? You look gorgeous here too:rose:
thanks Hanna. Hope you can see it better now.
Thank you! I began making my own stage dresses and beading them, when I realized how many thousands of dollars it cost to buy them. It took many months to complete this one, since I have to bead when I can, not straight through.
thank you; glad you like it.
This is gorgeous, Susaye.

That is a great way to ensure proper draping, fit, and that you will like the dress itself. I have the distinct feeling that fabric and trim shopping with you would be loads of fun. Hellooo garment district.
