If intent is the catalyst for any change, then I declare my intent to help create peace in the world.

By accepting an Ambassadorship for the Good Will Treaty for World Peace, I accept the responsibility to aid in the world saturation of an idea that all human beings want and accept the possibility of world peace.

One spark, can start a fire.

One brick is the beginning of a building,

One positive thought can begin world healing.


In a time when we face the possibility of world destruction,

when we watch our children growing toward despair, violence and the lack of hope, as their credo,

and while we wonder if there will be a world for our children to grow old in,

I MUST believe that one person, can plea for peace.



The idea comes about by one thought,

which spreads, lights a fire, and washes over the human spirit in each of us.


Without politics, ego, personal gain, or any barrier of thought,

I declare allegiance to the ideal of the Good Will Treaty.



One must dream big, to achieve big things.

While that might sound like a simple idea, easily achieved,

we must remember that an idea that is not declared, sets nothing in motion.


And so today, let it be known, that I believe and declare world peace to be possible, starting here and now.

Come join me in this simple thing, and tell everyone you know, that by beginning now, to spread this big dream, we will achieve that Great Thing: Peace, one person at a time.



Growing and spreading, this idea will take strength and confidence, and become our great and peaceful reality.

....Here at DA, you are fire, you are lightning,....

My dears,

I want for you all to realize your talents this upcoming year (2008). Many of you still live under the illusion of immortal youth, and while you have youth, you must take advantage of it to its fullest extent. This is merely a matter of your physical energy being at its peak, and while you are young, you will think your freest thoughts.

I want you to grow, learn, to listen, to see all that is possible for you. Those of you who are adults and have families of your own: I know you steal time to create, because I live there too, in that world of stolen time. We provide, we nurture, we support, we overlook, we admire, we uplift, and we gain minutes of strength through watching all of you younger ones grow.

For me, creativity has to be an aggressive goal. I press daily to drag up any nuance of fresh creativity, of fresh thought, of innovation, and while I seek creativity, and watch all of you, I grow. I am so grateful to you, for your talents, because through them, I am able to see what tomorrow can be for all of us. Here at DA, you are fire, you are lightning, blinding hurricanes of flight. If I could steal your youth, I would, but that would be unfair, because I've had mine. If I had known all of you when I was a teenager, my destiny would have been different of course. I believe in the infinite wisdom of God's will, not mine, though, and because of that, I know that my choices have been true for my life.

Each time I scroll through the art, of all kinds, a tiny spark flies off, and makes me see new things and new possibilities. I want all of us to press forward, dig deep, and come up with the finest that we have inside. We don't know how much time we have left to create; our world is swirling around us, and the time we have left may be short, but let's take that time, and call it the best days of our lives, because we've given the best that we have, the most that we have, and the greatest that we have.

2008? Ours for the taking.

my first and grateful-for Daily Deviation "Tribute to Mount Fuji" was requested as a print and I love the other two.....
so there.

My sage advice would be to buy one if you like any of my prints and stuff, cause.........duh! don't wanna be a starving artist.

And don't even get me started on that subject.

Starving artists thingy is just wrong!
I have some ideas to change that for you brave types.

Get that Candy!

Granted, I've always loved Halloween and all of the holidays for that matter. Holidays bring focus and fun to those who let them.
I've had some really sucky Christmases: too much cooking and trying to smile at relatives( teehee) that I haven't seen for yongs.
But basically, I love all the folderol and doodads and geegaws that go along with holidays.

So here's wishing all you fine artistic fellows a kindly and candily Halloween full of fear and fun and boos and costumes.
I'm gonna dress up as a heffah!
